Rockpapershotgun’s review of The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game… Not Cardboard Children: Two’s Company | Rock, Paper, Shotgun: “The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game.” Skim’s over the difficulty of finding the best way to play the game and misses the scaling issues, but all in all a good review. Recommended.

Finding The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game too easy?

Then try this one: But seriously, I’ll try and get round to designing some harder quests if I get the opportunity.  The main criticisms have been that my scenarios are too easy, especially from deck-building types who have more than one core set.  Since they play well for me and my group I doubt I’d play quests of much harder difficulty lest they become as frustrating as Dol Guldur can be.  But we shall see once Hunt for Gollum lands…
